Beth-El Center Voted Non-Profit of the Year for Second Year in a Row

Beth-El Center has been voted Non-Profit of the Year for the second year in a row by members of the Milford CT Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Beth-El Center has been voted Non-Profit of the Year for the second year in a row by members of the Milford CT Regional Chamber of Commerce. The award was announced at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Business Leadership Awards Dinner on January 18, 2023 at Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange.

“We're grateful for the recognition of our organization and the work that we do in the region. Our staff, donors, partners, and volunteers made our work and successes possible over these past two years of intense community crisis response,” according to Beth-El Center Executive Director Jenn Paradis. “For over forty years, the Beth-El Center has evolved to serve the needs of those in need in our community. We appreciate that leaders in the business community voted for us as an acknowledgment of the importance of our work to end homelessness.”

The Beth-El Center is committed to supporting individuals and families in our community who face housing instability and food insecurity. As an emergency response provider, the Center provides a safe place for people experiencing homelessness as well as the various supports needed to meet their immediate and long-term needs. Beth-El Center incorporates a model designed to reduce homelessness and the number of households in our community living in crisis.
