Big Y Supermarket Adding Gas Station In Milford
New details were released concerning the approval of the project.
MILFORD, CT — New details have been released concerning the Planning and Zoning Board's approval of a gas station at Big Y supermarket at 150 Boston Post Road.
The applicant representative, Ryan Scrittorale, PE, Benesch Engineering Co., told members at a recent meeting the project proposed conversion of part of the parking lot into a fueling station, saying the fueling operation would have minimal impact on current parking, according to meeting minutes.
Scrittorale said that refueling of tanks would happen when businesses are closed. Scrittorale reviewed aspects of the attendant kiosk and noted that attendants get emergency training in case of any spillage. He said storm runoff would be reduced.
