The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Keeping taxes low and our streets safe while ensuring small businesses grow and thrive.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
We need leaders with frontline public service experience who can get the job done for us, from keeping our taxes low to helping small businesses grow and thrive.
I am the only candidate running for this office with private, non-profit sector, and frontline public service experience, and translating to knowing how to make government work better for residents and businesses alike.
Accomplishments:
I have significant professional experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. I've done award-winning corporate communications work for Fortune 500 Companies and more in the private sector, in addition to opening up two successful Milford-based small businesses.
In the non-profit sector, I founded and ran a Milford-based organization that successfully pushed for pro-small business and pro-job creation policies at the state and local levels.
As a frontline public service pro, I've served in a senior role for an attorney general and two mayors, helping to spearhead policies that directly contributed to economic rebounds in two of Connecticut's largest cities.
And, as a civic leader, I currently serve on the Milford Board of Aldermen and formerly served on Milford's Planning and Zoning Board, always focused on doing what's right for our great city and its residents.
In sum: I'll put my experience to work for Milford, helping our city get better, safer, and stronger every single day.
Other issues:
Keeping taxes low, helping small businesses grow and thrive, protecting seniors, steering development away from the public lands we need to preserve, investing in public safety, and cracking down on predatory developers and over-development.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
Milford is a great place to live, work, and play. And our city's best days are ahead of us. It's why my wife and I have been proud to call Milford home for the better part of a decade.
We can make our city even better in the future by keeping taxes low, helping small businesses grow and thrive, steering development away from the public lands we need to preserve, investing in public safety, and cracking down on predatory developers and over-development.
Here's the bottom line: I will always do what's right for our community. I would very much appreciate your vote for the Board of Aldermen on November 2, and 2021.
