Britton John Broatch Memorial Scholarship Winner Announced

Photo: The recipient of the 2016 Britton John Broatch Memorial Scholarship was honored on May 26 at Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford. Kathryn Goswisnock is attending Eastern Connecticut State University in the fall, where she will major in early childhood education with a goal to become a kindergarten teacher. The annual scholarship is in memory of life-long Milford resident and Foran graduate Britton John Broatch (BJB), who died of a brain aneurysm in 2003 at the age of 25. The scholarship was presented to Ms. Gowisnock by Britton's brother Kierran Broatch.
