Broadway Open Markets

The Shops at Yale and Specialty Events LLC will host an open-air market on Broadway Island on select Sundays in April and May - April 17, April 24, May 1, May 15, – from 11a.m. – 4 p.m. More than 20 local artisans and gourmet food vendors will partake in each Broadway Open Market at 56 Broadway in New Haven.

Vendors at the markets, which began as a series in 2014, offer hand-crafted jewelry, pottery, candles, soaps, men’s and women’s apparel, home goods, décor, and more. Greg Sherrod performs at each Broadway Open Market in his iconic “Blues-N-Soul-N-Rock-N-Roll” genre. Visitors to the area can eat at: Mario Batali’s Tarry Lodge, Maison Mathis, Tomatillo Taco Joint, Ivy Wok, Thali Too, Blue State Coffee, Ashley’s Ice Cream, Junzi Kitchen, and Yorkside Pizza and Restaurant.

Parking:
Ample parking is available at the 56 Broadway surface parking lot. On-street parking is free on Sundays in New Haven. Additional parking may be found at the Chapel-York Garage at 150 York St.
