'The Original Billy Joel Band' To Perform In Orange

Event Details

Parsons/Veterans Auditorium • 53 W Main St, Milford, CT, 06460

The "ORIGINAL BILLY JOEL BAND," The Lords of 52nd Street will be returning to Milford on Sat, Oct 4 at 7:30 p.m. They'll be performing at The Parsons/Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

The "Lords of 52nd Street is the name Billy Joel gave to the band back in the 70’s. "They do not need to copy or reinvent the original music… since they are the guys you saw playing at Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, Nassau Coliseum and the countless other venues during those Billy Joel concerts of the 1970’s and 1980’s. THIS IS NOT A TRIBUTE BAND!"

"The Lords of 52nd Street are the legendary bandmates who recorded and toured the world for many years with the “Piano Man.” These guys helped to create one of the most recognizable sounds in music recording the sax, drum and guitar solos on over 100 million albums sold with Billy Joel as well. They also performed all over the world for decades with Billy as well as their own personal careers," according to information from The Milford Performance Center.

The band is led by Richie Cannata on tenor saxophone, Liberty DeVitto on drums and percussion, and Russell Javors on rhythm guitar. After 30+ years, the band has reunited.

There is also a limited meet and greet before the show, at 6:45 p.m., with 25 tickets available. The meet and greet include an autographed "Limited Edition" show poster. This ticket is separate from the show poster.

Doors open at 6:30 PM & the show starts at 7:30PM. Tickets are available online at www.MilfordPerformanceCenter.org or at the door on show day if still available.
