The Rape Crisis Center of Milford is so excited to announce that our 19th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Event will take place on Sunday April 26th, 2026! Join us on 4/26/26 at 12:00PM as Lisman Landing in Milford, CT in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month as we walk to show our support for survivors and raise awareness! “Put Yourself In Her Shoes! Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining the award-winning Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. Check out our fundraising incentives and awards, too! ALL support makes a difference. The Rape Crisis Center of Milford provides free sexual assault victim services to survivors and their families. Last year, our agency served over 700 individuals, including 150 children, in addition to having provided thousands of local students with prevention education. Our vision is that there will be a zero tolerance for sexual violence and no stigma attached to victims. Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and every dollar raised goes towards keeping our services FREE of charge for survivors and their families.
