Milford Arts Council's Eastbound Theatre will present “The Write to Vote,” three original short plays on Sunday, October 4 at 4 p.m. at the MAC, 40 Railroad Avenue South in Milford.The staged readings are a special presentation in recognition of the upcoming voting season and Election Day in November.
The program features short plays by Beatriz Allen and Orna Rawls, both of Stratford and Kit Briner of Bridgeport. Directed by Briner, the free program also features a monologue written by Julia Allen of Stratford and a poem, written by Gwendolyn Gardiner of Bridgeport.
Actors in the program are: Kit Briner, Gwendolyn Gardiner, John Traggianese and Jordan Weisblatt, all of Bridgeport; TJ Chila and Richard Warren of Milford; Julia Allen of Stratford, Joan Barere of New Haven, and Elayne Gordon of Norwalk.
A Q&A with the program particiants follows the performance. While free and open to the public, donations to the MAC’s Eastbound Theatre are greatly appreciated.
