What is Cannabis?
Cannabis, also known as marijuana/weed, is a plant that has chemicals that affect the brain and body. The main psychoactive compound in cannabis is THC. This produces the “high” that people experience. Another compound known as CBD, is typically associated with the potential “therapeutic” effects without causing that same intoxicating feeling.
