Car Hits Tree, Driver Hospitalized In Milford

MILFORD, CT — A car hit a tree at the Walnut Beach parking lot Friday, according to fire officials.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m.

Crews used struts to stabilize the SUV. They then helped the person out of the car.

The patient was taken to an area hospital for further care and monitoring.

"Our members constant training, knowledge and situational awareness ensure the safety of our patients and crews operating on scene," fire officials said.
