Carol Swarney, 82, of Orange, passed away 2024.
Carol graduated from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield and went on to nursing school.
Carol Louise Swarney, 82, of Orange, beloved wife of Roger Swarney. Born on November 12, 1941, in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Everett Bulkley of Fairfield and predeceased by her sister, Clara French.
She graduated from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield and went on to nursing school. Carol was office manager for Interstate Department Store where she met and fell in love with Roger Swarney. She was also a dental assistant and nursery schoolteacher, whom the kids loved.
Her hobbies included traveling with her husband Roger, family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and spending the holidays with her family. She was also a proud red hatter.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Swarney, her two sons, Scott Swarney, Todd Swarney (Martha), and her grandson, Brandon Bogan. She also leaves behind her loving niece Susan French and nephew Brad French.
