Catherine Ann Clifford, 83 of Milford, passed away peacefully

Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Catherine loved her family with all her heart.

Catherine Ann Clifford, 83 of Milford, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Catherine, “Cathy”, was born on January 12,1942 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles and Estelle Lach Dudler. Cathy was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Clifford.

Cathy was the proud co-owner of Milford Cleaning Village, which she ran alongside her husband, Patrick, for 34 years until their retirement. More than anything, Cathy treasured her family—whether it was chatting for hours on the phone, cooking meals to bring everyone together, or offering a listening ear and unwavering support. She was incredibly generous, always willing to help those she loved and anyone in need. A devoted wife, she embodied the vows "in sickness and in health," serving as Patrick’s primary caretaker after his Alzheimer's diagnosis.

In her free time, Cathy was a voracious reader with a love for mysteries and elegant romance novels. She was also never one to turn down the QVC special of the day. The love for her family was never more evident than by Cathy and her daughter’s exceptionally close relationship, with Cathy serving as Victoria’s Maid of Honor at her wedding. But above all, her greatest joy was spoiling her grandson, Kiernan. From the moment he entered her life, she cherished him with all her heart, making every moment together special.
