Charles J. Levesque passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 17, 2025.

Charles was loved and adored by many with his genial grin and hearty welcome making everyone feel right at ease in his company.

Charles J. Levesque passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 17, 2025. He was 95 years old. Charles “Charlie” was born on July 15, 1930 in Fitchburg, MA.

Charles attended St. Bernard’s High School where he was the star halfback and captain of the football team. Shortly after high school, Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years. He was stationed in California and in England.

Charles met and married the love of his life, Jacquelyn, and they had 4 children together. They were married for 65 years. Their love story was an unwavering deep and lasting connection they shared for decades.

Charles, Jacquelyn and their children moved to Connecticut in 1964. It was on Woodmont Day that they moved to Beach Ave in Milford. Charles was a hardworking construction worker until his retirement. Charles loved sports and was actively involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s events. Whether it was football, softball, basketball, swimming, or volleyball, he rarely missed a game or practice. Charles was loved and adored by many with his genial grin and hearty welcome making everyone feel right at ease in his company. Charles was always helping someone, whether it be shoveling neighbor’s driveways or driving neighborhood kids where they needed to go. In their later years, Charlie and Jackie enjoyed sitting on their front porch greeting all who passed by. Charles loved laying in the sun. He and Jackie enjoyed winters in California while visiting their daughter on Havasu Lake.

Charles is survived by, and will be greatly missed by his wife, Jacquelyn Levesque (Foley), his children, Michael, Charles (Janet), Karen (William “Cotton”), Brian (Gigi), and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Charles L. Levesque and Doris B. Lavoie, his sisters, Lorraine R. Vallee, Denise M. Sheldon, and his beloved son, Mark P. Levesque.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 12pm at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family are invited to gather afterwards at New Haven Pizza Place, 1377 New Haven Ave., Milford, CT from 2pm to 4pm.
