Because the show hasn’t aired, there isn’t much they can say, except that “it was a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad we were able to do it as a family.”
“We are all very nervous about the final episode and how it plays out. This is very exciting news and our faithful staff, friends and customers have shown tremendous support on social media. Our Facebook page blew up last night and the number of shares and comments were extremely flattering,” Heather Profetto said.

She added that “it has been an overwhelming experience.”
“We have been dying to talk about the experience but we were bound to secrecy. We are probably going to have a viewing party, so keep the date open!,” Profetto added.
What they can say about the show
“What I can say about it is that they taped the bio pack in Milford last Spring and it included a scene with the Central Fire Station and the guys getting a food donation of Thanks,” Heather Profetto said.
Additionally there was footage in the bar and action shots in the restaurant and kitchen This day was over 14 hours of taping of us all together and separately. The actual show was shot in May three days before Mother’s Day and before Ryan actually graduated from UCONN, so that was stressful to say the least.
That day was long and very interesting. We will be revealing behind the scenes remarks during the showing that night between commercials,” Profetto continued.
Chopped first aired in 2009 and more than 300 episodes have aired and each show attracts more than 1 million viewers. An astounding 26 seasons have been filmed already.
Rainbow Gardens officially opened in 1996.
