Christmas Themed Movie Filmed in Milford

MILFORD, CT - A Hollywood movie was filmed right here in Milford on Wednesday.

And of course it was Milford native Christy Carlson Romano directing the Christmas themed movie “Christmas All Over Again,” which includes scenes on the Milford Green.

Instead of snow on the ground it was sunny and 60 degrees. If they came back on Monday to shoot there may be snow on the ground.

“The Downtown Green was abuzz with Hollywood stars as Christy Carlson Romano directed the filming of a Christmas-themed movie set in Milford,” the city of Milford posted on Facebook, and featured a picture of Mayor Benjamin Blake. No word on whether Mayor Blake received a cameo.

The film stars Sean Ryan Fox, of Henry Danger fame.

According to IMDb, the movie’s plot is about “A mischievous, swag-obsessed boy must overcome his inner Scrooge, or remain caught in a cycle where everyday is a Christmas without presents.”

Romano is one of the city’s most well-known natives as she starred on the Disney Channel shows, Even Stevens and was the voice of Kim Possible.

There is no date yet for when the movie will be completed.
