City Of Milford: ARPA October Update

The City of Milford received and is reviewing more than one-hundred responses for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding that came in during the public comment period. The submissions came from Milford residents, non-profit and community leaders, and City departments.

The proposed projects focus on:
- Support for the Public Health Response
- Addressing the Negative Economic Impacts of COVID-19
- Replacement of Lost Public Sector Revenue
- Water and Sewer Infrastructure
- Broadband Infrastructure
- Equity Focused Services
The American Rescue Plan Working Group has met to review and evaluate all proposals to ensure that projects comply with ARPA guidelines and regulations. Upon completion of the review, the City will prepare a draft proposal outlining projects and funding that will be submitted to U.S. Treasury on the submission deadline.
