Comcast Opens Xfinity Pop-Up Store In Milford

MILFORD, CT — Comcast has opened a pop-up Xfinity store in Milford. The new store will be open until March 21 outside the Macy's at the Connecticut Post Mall at 1201 Boston Post Road.

The pop-up store provides a destination for visitors to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services," according to a statement from the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Comcast also made a $5,000 grant award to the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce. The move represents "a series of investments Comcast has been making in the community since announcing the expansion of its state-of-the-art network to Milford, Orange and Woodbridge," according to the Chamber's statement.

Comcast is working with other local nonprofit organization, such as making a donation of laptops to the Boys & Girls Club of Milford last year.

“Since expanding to the area, Comcast has become an invaluable member of the community and we’re grateful for their continued support,” Michael Moses, president and CEO of the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement.

Comcast is expected to complete an expansion project by the end of the year in Milford, Orange, and Woodbridge to bring high-speed internet to more than 35,000 homes and businesses in New Haven County.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Milford community and welcome residents to visit our pop-up store at this convenient location to explore our Xfinity products and services,” Carolyne Hannan, senior vice president of Comcast’s New England region, said in a statement. “Comcast is also committed to supporting the communities we serve, and we take pride in our collaboration with the Milford Regional Chamber to cultivate local partnerships.”

Through March 21, the pop-up Xfinity Store is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 to 5 p.m. For directions and more information, click here.
