Community Rallies Around Milford Family Mourning Loss Of Newborn
Hundreds are coming to the aid of a family who lost their newborn child due to a tragic accident involving the family's dog.
MILFORD, CT — Supporters of a local family have given generously in the wake of an "unimaginable loss." Brayden Burwell, who was born Jan. 30, died Feb. 16, according to his obituary.
The infant was killed in an accident involving the family's dog, News 12 Connecticut reported. While the family is not discussing the details, they said it was not an attack by the dog but rather a "tragic accident."

Natalie Kikkenborg and Nichole Mazzara have organized a fundraiser on behalf of Shelley Heery. The GoFundMe has raised $17,425 of a $15,000 target. As of Monday morning, 320 people had donated to the cause.
