Convicted Felon Armed With Gun, Several Knives: Milford Police
A man was arrested after a victim reported to police that he brandished a gun at a Milford hotel.

MILFORD, CT — A man who had extraditable warrants out of New York was arrested in Milford on weapons charges, according to police.
Police were dispatched to the Milford Inn at 345 Old Gate Lane on Saturday on a report of a breach of peace with a gun brandished.
The victim told police that the man, later identified as Raquan Brown, 30, of Bronx, New York, was "aggressively banging on her motel room door," police said. The victim said Brown had a gun on him.

Police found Brown in his vehicle in the hotel parking lot. Police searched his car and found a Taurus G2S 9mm handgun, a 9mm 10-round magazine, 9mm full metal jacket bullets, a steak knife, a blade, a "homemade stabbing device," two bags of meth, a glass pipe, and a bag of fentanyl/oxycodone, according to police.
Police also found that Brown was a convicted felon with extraditable warrants out of New York.

He was taken into custody and charged with three counts of weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, breach of peace, and possession of a controlled substance.
