Cornerstone Project’s Fall Festival and Auction
Fall Festival and Auction to Raise Funds for Orphaned African Students on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Hopkins Vineyard in Warren, CT

Cornerstone Project, a CT-based charitable foundation, is planning its 6th Annual Fall Festival and Auction for Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 5:30- 8:30pm at Hopkins Vineyard in Warren, CT. The Festival is a benefit for the Nambale Magnet K-8 School and its vulnerable community in Western Kenya, Africa.
The fundraiser will take place in the scenic hills of Litchfield County and include food, wine from Hopkins Vineyard, a raffle, live auction and entertainment by jazz guitarist Bentley Lewis. The event’s highlight will be a remote presentation from Kenya featuring Nambale Magnet School founder and Kenya native Reverend Evalyn Wakhusama, a graduate of Yale University Divinity School.
“We’re excited to bring back our in-person Festival to raise funds for the education and care of the K-8 orphaned and vulnerable students at the Nambale Magnet School in Africa,” says Martine Nolletti, Cornerstone Project’s Chairperson. “With our life-changing help, these students now have the opportunity to excel in their academics, advance to high school and college and empower themselves for a more stable, self-reliant future.”

Due to the School’s aging science equipment, computer lab and technology which are over ten years old, Cornerstone Project is currently raising funds to supply Nambale Magnet School with fifty new computers. The improved technology will facilitate the students’ education and digital literacy skills.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door and can be purchased online at www.cornerstoneproject.org/festival

About Cornerstone Project
The Cornerstone Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that transforms and sustains marginalized communities by educating, nurturing and empowering their most vulnerable members. It was founded in 2008, to initially provide education for AIDS orphans in Kenya. The organization was the vision of two women in Litchfield County Connecticut who saw the benefits in providing vulnerable children with opportunities during their childhood that would subsequently help them become valuable, contributing members of their communities as they reached adulthood.
