Creed Vocalist Scott Stapp To Headline Milford Oyster Festival
The Milford Oyster Festival committee has announced the 2022 musical acts.
MILFORD, CT — Creed lead vocalist Scott Stapp will headline the 2022 Milford Oyster Festival on Aug. 20.
Stapp and the rest of Creed won the 2001 Grammy for best rock song for "With Arms Wide Open."
Creed became popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band's 1999 album Human Clay sold more than 10 million copies and is one of the best-selling album of all time.

“We are so excited to have Scott Stapp performing at this year’s festival," Milford Oyster Festival President Ila Tokarz said. "Scott brings heart, soul and passion into his music. You won’t want to miss the show.”
Stapp has released three solo albums between 2005 and 2019.

Foo Fighters tribute band Fooz Fighters will open for Stapp.
The Milford Oyster Festival will be held rain or shine Saturday Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival includes a craft beer area, festival car saw, arts and craft vendors on the Milford Green, amusement rides and canoe and kayak races.
Oyster festivities kick-off the day before with Oyster Eve from 6 to 10 p.m. at Fowler Field
