CT Weather: Hour-By-Hour Forecast Up To 7 Inches Of Snow Friday

Snow accumulation estimates for Connecticut's first snowstorm have been steadily rising. Here's when and how much snow to expect Friday.

CONNECTICUT — Most of us will be waking up to three to four inches of snow Friday morning, and some folks in the eastern part of the state may see up to seven inches of snow, according to the latest forecast updates.

The key highlights are: a winter storm warning is in effect for coastal sections of Middlesex County, all of New London and Windham counties, and a winter weather advisory has been issued for the remainder of the state. Snow accumulation estimates appear to show the most snow in eastern parts of Connecticut.

The snow begins after midnight and snowfall rates of an inch or more an hour are possible early Friday morning, and the storm departs very quickly. We can all plan on a tricky commute to work and there will likely be widespread school cancellations on Friday.
