CT Weather: Freeze Warning, Frost Advisory Issued
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning and frost advisory for parts of Connecticut as colder weather arrives.
CONNECTICUT — We knew that it would get cold sooner than later, and it looks like that time has arrived. We'll see the coldest temperatures of the fall season so far over the next couple of days.
A freeze warning is in effect for interior sections of Fairfield County tonight to 8 a.m. Wednesday. Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees expected.
"There is potential for a hard freeze (temperatures 28 degrees or below) Wednesday night into early Thursday morning," the weather service said.

Coastal areas of southern Connecticut won't exactly be experiencing beach weather, either. Temperatures along the immediate coast will drop to around 35 degrees tonight, and some patchy frost is possible Wednesday night.
In northern Connecticut, temperatures are expected to drop to around 35 degrees tonight and to around 30 degrees on Wednesday night. The weather service said there is a slight chance that on Thursday night snow showers may briefly occur.
