Day Care Employee Fired After Injuring Child: Milford PD
BREAKING: Police announced the arrest today and said the worker has been terminated from her job.

MILFORD, CT — A day care employee has been fired for injuring a child, Milford Police said in a news release Friday. On Aug. 3, police took custody of Tammy Gosney, 60, of Milford Point Road, in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.
She is accused of grabbing a child by the wrist and yanking the child up from the ground causing an injury to the child's elbow, police said. Gosney was currently employed at Good Child Day Care, 170 Old Point Road, when the incident occurred on June 27, police said. (To sign up for Milford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
She has since been terminated from her position following the incident, police said. She is charged with risk of injury to a child and was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 28.
