Details Announced For "Milford's Got Talent" Contest At 4th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Milford, CT Pumpkins On The Pier
The Milford's Got Talent event is open to age group K-6th grade, where they will compete in a free talent show.

Milford, CT—September 18, 2014—The Boys & Girls Club of Milford, CT is hosting the 1st Milford’s Got Talent event at the 4th Annual Pumpkins on the Pier event, October 4, 2014 at Walnut Beach (113 East Broadway) in Milford, CT. Pumpkins on the Pier runs from 11AM to 8:30PM. Admission is free and a free shuttle service will be provided, running continuously from Jonathan Law High School to the Pumpkins on the Pier event. (Rain Date: Sunday, October 5)
The Milford’s Got Talent event is open to age group K-6th grade, where they will compete in a free talent show. Enter the Milford’s Got Talent event by emailing events@pumpkinsonthepier.org. All contestants must fill out a form, available on the Pumpkins on the Pier website and submit their entries before September 22.
• First Round: September 22 from 6:30 - 8PM at the Boys & Girls Club
After the first round, only 10 contestants will advance.
• Second Round: October 4 at 12PM at the Main Stage at the Pumpkins on the Pier Festival.
After the second round, only four contestants will be chosen to advance.
• Final Round: October 4 at 4PM at the Main Stage at the Pumpkins on the Pier Festival.
First Prize is a scholarship to the Summer Program at the Boys & Girls Club. / Second Prize is a scholarship to the Back to School Program at the Boys & Girls Club.

Each performer can perform one act per round. If the performer makes it to the next round they can perform a different act if they would like. No fireworks are allowed and performances will be performed on a stage. If performers want to perform in front of the stage – they will be accommodated.

The annual event will include activities for all ages. In addition to the new activities above, there will be a Free Pumpkin Decorating Area, Pumpkin Playground, Arts and Craft Vendors, Children’s Game Area, entertainment and so much more! Pumpkins of all sizes will be available for purchase in the Pumpkins on the Pier Pumpkin Patch.
