Details Released On Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus Race

MILFORD, CT — Registration is open for the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus 2026 Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk, 3K Fitness Run and Kid’s Fun Run.

The event will be May 10 at 7:45 a.m. and "features something for every member of the family, thanks to the generosity of presenting sponsor Dillon’s Services of Shelton," according to a statement from organizers.

The Mother’s Day event includes a timed 5K run and walk, a 3K fitness walk, and a kids' fun run for children ages nine and under.

The 5K and 3K courses begin and end near Bridgeport Hospital’s Milford Campus and follow waterfront streets along Seaside Avenue.

"Once participants cross the finish line, all are invited to stay and enjoy music, light refreshments, race announcements and awards," the statement reads.

Proceeds from this year’s event will support patients and services at Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus.

Adults 19 and older pay $40 from now until May 3; students ages 10 to 18 are $20; and kids ages nine and under participate for free.

There are prizes for the top three runners in all age groups and the fastest mother-daughter and mother-son teams will also receive special prizes.
