Development Approved Near The Orchards Golf Course in Milford

A developer is proposing to construct five new residential units between 2,500 and 3,000 square feet each with three car garages at 701 North Street on land that abuts The Orchards Golf Course, the Milford Mirror reports.

The existing farmhouse would be preserved The city would like the developer to donate some land for open space to be added to the golf course property, but the developer is offering instead to donate 10 percent of the land’s value to the city’s open space fund. The Planning and Zoning Board has yet to vote on this application.
