Devon Rotary's Scott Moulton Receives Honors
Devon Rotary recognizes member Scott Moulton, recently honored as recipient of the Norman K. Parsells Award

Milford, CT -- The Devon Rotary is pleased to recognize member Scott Moulton, who was recently honored as recipient of the Norman K. Parsells Award during the Awards Dinner, hosted by the Monroe Rotary Club, at The Stone Barn in Monroe. Norm was a dedicated Rotarian who served his community and Rotary, demonstrating Rotary’s ideal of “Service Above Self.”
Annually, Area Four and Area Five of Rotary District 7980 join to honor the memory and spirit of Norm Parsells. Each club identifies a recipient of the Norman K. Parsells Award who personifies the spirit and dedication to their community and Rotary that Norm represented during his lifetime.
A thirteen year member, Scott served as Devon Rotary Club President for the 2012/13 year, managed the Glowball Golf fundraising event for several years, and served as co-chair of the successful Oktoberfest fundraising event for the past four years. He was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow, named Rotarian of the Year in 2013/14, and is the recipient of numerous Merit Awards.

In 2014, Scott served as The Chairman of The Board for the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce and has been involved in numerous committees since 2000. Scott is a financial consultant with Capital Management Group, focusing on financial planning, wealth management, and employee benefit planning, and lives in Milford with his wife and four children.
According to Devon Rotary President Lee Cooke, “Our Club is enormously proud of Scott. He exemplifies the mission of the Devon Rotary through his years of continuous and dedicated service.”

The Devon Rotary of Milford, CT is a group of area business professionals who volunteer time to raise money through annual fundraising projects, giving back to the local Milford community. Weekly meetings take place on Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m., at The Bridge House Restaurant, 49 Bridgeport Avenue, in the Devon section of Milford, CT. Meetings are open and membership is available.
