Dianne Elizabeth Kosa, of Milford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 29th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Kosa and cherished mother and nana to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dianne was born on January 15, 1945, in Milford to the late Michael and Edna Surenko. She grew up in Walnut Beach, where her father owned the well-known Spike’s Diner. For most of her life, Dianne worked at Warners in Stratford and later spent a decade working at Subway World Headquarters, from which she retired.
Dianne enjoyed listening to music, reading a good book at the beach, cooking, and spending cherished time with her family. She loved taking day trips to Mohegan Sun with her girlfriends and had a youthful spirit—always keeping up with the latest streaming shows and pop-culture gossip. And if you asked any of her grandchildren, they would tell you she made a stellar egg sandwich.
