MILFORD, CT — A billboard owner is asking the city to let him convert six I-95 static billboards into digital ones.

Dominick DeMartino proposed a zone change that would allow him to complete the conversion, according to the Milford Mirror. He tried and failed on two previous conditions to get the Planning and Zoning Board to amend the rules.

Several residents spoke against the proposal, and dozens submitted letters urging the city to keep the billboards static.
