Downtown Milford Gets Spooky For A Day Of Fun

This family friendly day features costume contests, not-so-scary story time with Pantochino Productions, music and food trucks.

MILFORD, CT – The Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting their annual Hall-O-Weekend 2017 and invites families and children of all ages to come make memories and enjoy some not-so-scary fun in charming downtown Milford.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 10 am – 2 pm, Hall-O-Weekend is designed to bring families together for a day of silly fun. Participating shop windows are getting a Halloween-themed makeover from students at Platt Tech, and opening their doors for trick-or-treaters from noon until 2 pm, inviting visitors to vote for their favorite window while they are at it. The day features story time with the cast of Pantochino Productions, music with radio personality Brian Smith, a costume parade and costume contests for all age groups (even pets), vendors on the green, food trucks, and more.

“The Milford Green and our local businesses are loaded with New England charm and a wonderful resource to the community,” said Tracy Bonosconi, DMBA President. “Since there’s nothing like Halloween in New England, why not use that amazing resource to bring families together? These are the kind of memories that last a lifetime.”
