Dr. Feser Thanks School Board for Their 'Confidence in Me' After Contract Vote
Feser recently received a contract extension and raise from the Board of Education.

MILFORD, CT — Milford Superintendent of Schools Elizabeth Feser says she appreciates the support of the Board of Education and "their confidence in me," after the board approved a contract extension and raise for her.
"I appreciate the support of the Board of Education and their confidence in me. In concert with the Board of Education we have accomplished much this year, for example., reconfiguration of the elementary schools; establishing of a Computer Science Career Pathway for middle and high school students; bringing forth the lowest budget in over a decade; achieving having the YMCA to take over all of the Before and After School Programs in the elementary schools at a significantly reduced cost to families; introducing a Pre-k program at Pumpkin Delight to be launched in August 2016; and establishing 4-year Board/District goals," Feser said.
Feser received a contract extension that keeps her with the school system through June 30, 2019.
The Board of Education voted unanimously in late June to approve the new three-year contract with Feser, according to meeting minutes.

Last year, the school board voted to extend Feser's contract through June 30, 2018, so in essence this is a one-year extension through June 30, 2019.

Feser also receives a 2.4 percent increase in salary and she will earn $203,538 this year, according to meeting minutes. The contact vote and raise was given after the school board evaluated Feser's performance.
