MILFORD, CT — A driver was trapped in their car after it careened down an embankment and slammed into a tree Wednesday afternoon, according to a Facebook post from the Milford Fire Department.

The Milford Emergency Operations Center received reports of a motor vehicle accident with a driver trapped on I-95 southbound in the area of exit 39 at 1:47 p.m.
