Drop Off Those "Toys for Tots" at Milford Fire Stations

The 45th Annual Milford Professional Firefighters Toys for Tots Drive launched today when Santa showed up at City Hall and chatted with Mayor Ben Blake.

Both said it's important for those more fortunate to recognize those less fortunate this holiday seasons by, for instance, bringing new, unwrapped toys and books to the city's fire stations so that they can be distributed to kids in need.

"It's important that we do indeed have to recognize the blessings that we have and make sure that we help the less fortunate families in Milford," the mayor said, "so that everybody has a happy Christmas and a happy holiday."

This year's co-chairmen of the event are Jason Hall, Brian Colwell, Jack Geary and Mike Genecopolous.
