Bedlam @ the Bijou Presents: Attack of the B-Movies Double Feature: "The Giant Claw" and "Plan 9 From Outer Space"

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the theater Brian Solomon of TheVaultofHorror.net is back with more blood-curdling double features to bring an extra chill to your winter. Bridgeport, prepare for more Bedlam…
Look up the phrase “So bad they’re good,” and you just might find these two movies. For decades, moviegoers have loved bad films almost as much as they love great films. But not just any bad films. In order to be beloved, it has to be a unique kind of stinker; the kind that is so much fun you can’t take your eyes off it. And that’s what we’ve got! We kick things off with Sam Katzman’s dinosaur-bird-from-space epic, The Giant Claw. One of the only American films in the Japanese kaiju tradition, this titanic turkey from Columbia Pictures is goofy Eisenhower-era cheese at its best. And then, the mother of all B-movies, Plan 9 from Outer Space, the masterpiece from schlockmeister supreme Ed Wood. With aliens, zombies, Vampira, the final appearance of Bela Lugosi and more, this is must-see viewing for any connoisseur of bad cinema.
