International Surfing Day will take place on Saturday, June 23rd. With temperatures soaring the beach is the perfect place to spend the day. This year we will celebrate ISD in Milford, CT. There will be 2 parts to the day:
1) Horseshoe Crab Tagging at the Audubon Center in Milford. Volunteers will tag crabs in an effort to help Sacred Heart University’s Project Limulus. 10am-12pm.
2) ISD Celebration Walnut Beach in Milford. There will be surf and SUP lessons/demos, surf bands, go-go dancers, dj, and much, much, more! The Surfrider crew will be on hand with games, giveaways, educational materials, and a beach clean-up! 1pm-6pm.
