Acting Class: Monologues and Scene Study

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, June 19 - July 12 (no class 6/28, substitute class 6/29).  Students are asked not to miss more than two classes.  

For ages 18 and up. 

With more than thirty years in the business, Colin Lane has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway, in all the major regional theaters around the country, and on film and t.v. The class is geared toward people with all levels of acting experience as an opportunity to work with a professional to develop their natural skill as actors. Students will practice connecting to text and character, and making strong, active choices. Students are asked to come to the first class prepared with a memorized monologue. Over the course of the month, they will begin to work together in small groups on scenes.
