Facebook 'Poke' Leads to Charges for Milford Man
Milford police say the accused violated a no-contact protective order.

MILFORD, CT - A Facebook “poke” led to charges for a Milford man, police said.
Police say they took custody of Eric Bauer, 27, of West Main Street, on an arrest warrant.
Bauer is accused of violating a court set full no-contact protective order by sending a “poke” via Facebook to the female who holds the protective order against him on May 5, police said.

He is charged with violation of a protective order and was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on May 24.
A Facebook “poke” can be sent to someone for numerous reasons including as a way of saying hi or reminding them that you sent them something that you feel requires a reply, or can be a goofy thing as well, says Socialnetworking.lovetoknow.com.
