Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — One person is dead and another injured following an early morning shooting in Milford on Wednesday, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 2:56 a.m. on the 800 block of East Broadway.

Police responded to a call and found that two people had been shot at a home. One person was dead and a woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment for her injuries, according to police.

The home is an active crime scene and the investigation is ongoing.
