Fire Reported In Milford, Officials Say

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Fire Department Milford, CT battled a shed fire on Saturday night.

At 8 p.m. the fire department responded to a shed fire in the rear of a house on Snow Apple Lane.

On arrival the homeowner had a garden hose in use to control the fire, officials said.

Crews stretched a 3-inch line up the long driveway to prepare to contain and extinguish the fire, officials said. Crews extinguished remaining hot spots and checked for extension to surrounding areas, officials said. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
