Obituary: Florence "Flo" H. Bennett
She was an administrative assistant for many years at Robert Shaw.
Florence H. Bennett, age 86, of Wallingford and formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Richard Bennett, died on Monday, October 13, 2025. Flo was born in Bridgeport on December 23, 1938 to Gloria Pearson. She was an administrative assistant for many years at Robert Shaw.
Survivors include her daughters; Linda Steinman and her husband, John of North Haven and Melody Munson of Cromwell, her sister, Dolores Christie of Milford, six grandchildren: Joseph Votto, Richard Munson, Erin DeArmin, Stephanie DeWallace (Robert), Joseph Carasone and Jack Steinman and five great-grandchildren, Hayley, Kadin, Kamryn, Luca and Jaxon. Flo is predeceased by her daughter and her husband, Debra and Thomas Ward, and her three brothers, Tommy, Jimmy and Billy Hammer.
Family and Friends may call on Thursday, October 16th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the DOYLE FUNERAL HOME 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
