Please join Mayor Blake, representatives of the City’s 375th Anniversary Committee and others for a bench dedication in honor of our former City Historian Richard Platt on Wednesday, July 30 at 2PM at the North Street Duck Pond across from the Sanford-Bristol House.
“It has been honor to serve with Dick Platt, his dedication to our City and its historic treasures are immeasurable,” said Mayor Blake.
The bench shall read “Here you sit and gaze at our history all around you. Thank you Dick Platt for this pleasure. Richard Platt Jr. ~City Historian~ 1999-2014

The bench is part of the Milford Recreation Department Bench Dedication Program and is installed by the Public Works Department.
