Free, 2-Day Market Returns to Milford In October

There will be more than 50 local vendors at the two-day market, along with live music and food.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Artisan Market will take place on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, October 17 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the Milford Green at 168-176 Broad Street in downtown. Free admission.

Fifty local artisans of handmade items including pottery, jewelry, clothing, woodworking, candles, painting, glass, and crochet as well as specialty foods vendors and authors will come together to share their creative output with the public. The Market will also feature live original music from The Sawtelles and Audio Jane and food from Liquid Lunch and Lobster Rolls food trucks. In addition, there will be tai chi and arts demonstrations.

COVID protocols will be followed. Social distancing and masks are encouraged. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers will be available throughout the Market.

Event staff, musicians and vendors must show proof of vaccination, a recent negative COVID test or must wear a mask for the entire event.

The event is organized by Artisan Events by Ally. The Milford Artisan Market is a biannual community event that will be held every October and May to promote local handcrafted wares and artists.
