Friends of the Milford Library Help Metro-North Commuters

As you wait for the train you can now enjoy some books.

The Friends of the Milford Library have set up ‘Books for Commuters’ in the waiting room at the Milford Train Station.

Friends’ President Anne Bolin noted that “since mid-December, the public has chosen over 100 books from the setup, along with current magazines, to enjoy as they ride the trains.”

The program, part of the Friends of Milford Library’s new Little Libraries Committee, is run by volunteers who are working to design, construct and stock book kiosks in parks, the railroad station and beaches.
