Gloria J. McAndrew, 78, passed away on October 1, 2024.

Gloria J. McAndrew, 78, of Milford, beloved wife of James McAndrew, passed away on October 1, 2024. Born on September 3, 1946, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Oswald J. Hanlyen and Florence C. Clayton, and stepdaughter of R. William (Bill) Clayton.

Gloria was retired from HAFSCO (Howard Arnold Food Service Company) working as an Accounts Payable clerk after 20+ years of service. Gloria’s hobbies included doing home improvements and spending time gardening or working in her yard, as she loved flowers.

Along with her husband, Gloria leaves behind her daughters: Denise McIntyre and her spouse, Robert, and Karen Hanna; grandchildren, Cody and Taylor Smolinsky; nephews, Charles (Sara) Jr., Edward (Traci), and David (Jolie) Fabrizio; nieces, Sandy, Susie and Patty Zboray; as well as extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Fabrizio.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 566 Elm St., Stamford, CT 06902 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 124 Rock Rimmon Rd, Stamford, CT 06903.
