Gold Buyers, Gold Sellers, Cash Takers
Police are looking for two men who allegedly made off with cash from Gold Buyers.
Police are looking for a man who entered Gold Buyers at the mall -- apparently under the ruse of selling jewelry -- and then managed to walk off with cash and the gold he had brought in.
They're also looking for a second man who drove the get-away car.
The first man entered Gold Buyers at Westfield Shoppingtown/Connecticut Post Mall on Feb. 3 claiming he wanted to sell gold jewelry, police said.

The store clerk paid the man about $200 in cash for the jewelry, but then the customer said he had changed his mind about the sale, according to police.
The worker then took back the cash, but left it on the counter when he was retrieving the jewelry, police said.

After the employee returned the gold to the customer, he noticed the cash was missing from the counter and threatened to call authorities, police said.
The customer fled in a car waiting outside, with a driver behind the wheel, according to police.
Police released two photos of the suspects, who had been captured on videotape at another store earlier.
The suspect in the store is described as a Hispanic who stands about 5-foot-8, has a heavy build, is in his late 30s, and has short hair and a thin moustache. He was wearing a black jacket, a black/gray striped shirt and sunglasses resting on the top of his head, police said.
The driver of the car was described as a black man who stands between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and is in his 30s. He was wearing a black vest, black long-sleeve shirt and a black hat, according to police.
The vehicle was described as a silver Dodge Charger, possibly with a Missouri registration plate.
