Connecticut Weather: More Rain And Then Summer Weather Finally Arrives

For those waiting for summer weather, we finally have an answer on when to expect that, but before it arrives, keep the umbrella handy.

The 7-day weather forecast for Connecticut offers us some good news and bad news. The bad news, if you like sun and warmer temps, is that we could see periods of rain Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and while it’s dry on Thursday there won’t be any sun either.

But the upcoming weekend shows plenty of sunshine and moderating temps and a real sign that summer weather is actually around the corner. For the first few days of this week expect the same weather we’ve been having for months, rain at times and cold temps as temps may not even exceed 60 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday. WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “Cloudy skies & 60s today but not much rain at all. The rain comes back in this evening and for Tuesday with chilly temperatures in the 50s. I do expect clearing Wednesday afternoon and some summer weather late this weekend and for next week!”
