Grocery Store Employee Assaulted In Milford Theft: Police
A pair stole hundreds of dollars' worth of Christmas decor and one of them assaulted an employee when he tried to stop them, police said.

MILFORD, CT — Two people are facing charges after stealing Christmas decorations from a Milford store and assaulting a worker, according to police.
A man and a woman, both from Bridgeport, are accused of stealing under $500 worth of Christmas decorations from the Big Y at 150 Boston Post Road in November.
An employee approached the pair and was assaulted. They also took the worker's phone and threw it across the parking lot, police said.

The two people were arrested this month.
The woman faces charges of second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, and third-degree assault.

The man faces charges of second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery, and sixth-degree larceny.
Each had a bond set at $50,000.
