Hail, Strong Thunderstorms, Wind For Southern CT Again: Timeline
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for all of southern Connecticut today. Here's the expected timeline.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — Rinse and repeat seems to be the motto concerning the recent weather in Connecticut. More storms, more rain, more hail and more wind gusts are expected in southern Connecticut this afternoon and evening.
This will be the fourth straight day that stormy weather is expected in the state.
The National Weather Service said "Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon into early evening. These storms will produce heavy downpours, strong wind gusts and small hail. The threat for an isolated severe thunderstorm with damaging wind gusts and one inch hail is low. In addition, there is potential for localized urban and poor drainage flooding."
