Handyman Bilked Homeowner Out Of $30K, Milford Police Say
A contractor is facing allegations that he charged a homeowner for work he never completed, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A contractor is facing charges that he failed to complete work he was paid for, according to Milford police.
Roy Saldana, 35, of Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree larceny.
Police took custody of Saldana on Monday as a warrant was out for his arrest. He is accused of charging over $30,000 for work he didn't complete.

His bond was set at $20,000. He's scheduled to appear in court June 24.
Saldana is listed as the operator of Roy's Handyman Service LLC in Bridgeport. The business is listed on the Better Business Bureau website but is not BBB accredited.

The BBB gives the business a grade of "F," noting failure to reply to nine complaints against it.
Saldana's attorney, Frederick Paoletti, did not return a call seeking comment.
Saldana was also charged with second-degree larceny in two other cases in Fairfield in 2022 and Seymour in 2023, according to court records.
